Laurel Springs, NC - Situated on the New River, only a few miles from New River Outfitters, you're sure to enjoy your summer vacation on the river.. Inside this three level home you'll find an expanse of windows in the great room with comfortable upscale seating, a stacked stone two-story gas log fireplace, satellite TV/DVD, door leading to the covered porch with a patio table & chairs, along with a roomy kitchen w/stainless appliances. Seating for 6 is available in the dining room. A bedroom with queen bed and a spacious full bath with shower is also on the main level.Upstairs you'll find a bedroom with twin beds and hall bath with step in shower, along with a comfy loft area for reading. The downstairs is a great area for the extended family. There's a den with satellite TV and small refrigerator, a third bath and bedroom with a king size bed.

  I thought the site was beautiful. But I think there were a few issues. We had wasps inside the house(and property management had someone come out that night-he went to the wrong house so when he finally got there it was dark and hard to see where the wasps were but he did vacumn the best he could. When we woke up the next morning there were still 5 wasps in the house -and I am alergic to bee stings. Our fireplace did not work and we asked the tech to check it -he did get it working but went out 5 minutes after he left. We could not get the buttom floor door to lock. The lower level bathroom had a sliver of soap and no tissues only the main level had those items. Not accustom when staying in these properties that I have to bring my own soap and tissues

    Thank you for leaving a review of your recent stay at Riverside Reflections. During the fall, it is common for wasps to look for a warm spot then try to get out of the house. Items to bring are listed in our management agreement, while we do leave a starter supply of hand soap, paper towels and toliet paper it is stated that you need to bring extra. There are instructions on how to operate the bottom floor door lock. You have to lift up on the handle then turn lock. The gas logs were checked after your stay and were cleaned. They are operational at this time. We do hope you will stay with us again.

  From the breathtaking views to the cozy cabin feel with everything you need for the home away from home, Riverside Reflections is the perfect find! The house was pristine, well-stocked, and cozy. We loved it so much that we immediately booked a second stay for the next month! It's the perfect spot in between West Jefferson and Sparta, with lots of nearby attractions - although I didn't really want to leave the porch. It's so quiet and peaceful - but sounds like a nature preserve with all the birds!

  Granted, we were there early in the season but, wow, more quiet it could not be. Things you see and hear at this location, more stars at night and far-off woodpeckers from every direction as well as ring-necked ducks on the river. The cabin was clean and very nice inside and out. The bed was comfortable and the towels in the bathroom were as good as the ones we have at home. We didn't want for anything as far as kitchen supplies and making meals. If I had one complaint it would be the furniture in the living room. Not for people with a bad back. However, you shouldn't be spending much time there right? You can take a float trip on the New River and go right by this place as we saw many canoe's and kayak's float by. Although Jefferson was only a 15-minute ride, we didn't spend any time there. It was a bit too chilly for much outdoor activity and we cooked our own meals given the times in which we live although not afraid of in-person dining. Anyway, everything was as advertised and all the 5-star reviews justified in our opinion. We would definitely stay here again.

  This cabin at Riverside Refections was the perfect family spot. We all had our own bedrooms but spent most our time together on the deck, beautiful backyard facing the river or in the common spaces playing games. After fun days of adventure hiking, the cabin was the perfect retreat to make dinner together and enjoy time with one another. Ages 18 months to 60 all loved the cabin!

  Riverside reflections is a wonderful home right on the river! It was a cold wet weekend and the gas fireplace was just right to take the chill out of our bones. We knew the house was a little drive to the grocery so we planned accordingly. The only drawback was the long dirt road leading up to the house, lots of potholes after a heavy rain. Thank you!

  This was the perfect property for our annual siblings/spouses vacation. The house was very spacious with a bedroom/bath on each level for the 3 couples. We also loved the foosball table and playing corn hole! The house was clean with many nice touches (extra shampoo and soap, fluffy towels, comfortable couches and beds). We spent lots of time on the back deck overlooking the river and nice landscaping (lots of butterflies on the butterfly bushes). The location was convenient for trips to Jefferson and West Jefferson. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a peaceful place to spend some relaxing time.

  The cabin was beautiful and just as described. However, when we arrived about 10 pm, the code that we had been given did not work. Fortunately for us, one of the other doors had been left unlocked, and we were able to get in. We got a new key code the next morning. The only other issue we had was with the gas logs, which we could not get to work, and no one ever showed up to fix them. Not a huge deal, but we chose this cabin over another one because this one had gas logs!The cabin looks brand new,and was very clean.

  Our six night stay was perfect! If I could I would give it a 10! It was spotless clean, peaceful and relaxing. The furnishings were very nice and comfortable. The house is very well maintained, both inside and out. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the beautiful creek and the wild life play. We were blessed to be able to take our two little fur babies. We really didn't want to leave! Also, the staff was friendly, helpful, and professional.   The house is very nice and the river view is great. We took a lot of long walks along the very rural road that was winding with the river. Great property. Only negative is that the WIFI and DIrectV was removed by the owners (not communicated to us or the rental agency prior). Property management team worked very hard to understand root cause and worked with us on an agreeable solution. Very happy with property management team and their willingness to assist.

  Excellent experience. We were traveling to the area for a wedding but also wanted a bit of a getaway. The cabin is beautiful and the scenery is amazing.   Everything about this house was perfect for our weekend! The interior of the house was beautifully decorated. The covered deck overlooking the river was my favorite. The landscaping and flowers, especially the butterfly bushes provided a great view. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to stay much longer next time.

  the house was beautifully equipped and had a wonderful layout to accomodate a large family. the location was secluded but close to jefferson. we loved walking along the river with our grandson and it only took a few minutes to drive to new river state park for a hike. we would love to stay there again.

  Every other year, our family meets in the mountains to celebrate Thanksgiving. This year, we stayed here and it couldn't have been more wonderful. Nice that each family had their own private space and separate bathroom. Outside was beautiful. Only problem was the burn ban prevented us from having fires at night. Location was a little hard to get to. You wouldn't want to stay here if you had to make frequent trips in and out.

  Three are couples who take an annual Sparta golf outing. We felt so fortunate to be able to rent this property. This home is beautiful, has lovely furnishings, with every accessory possible, beautiful deck, fire pit and is exceptionally clean and very comfortable. I could go on and on.   We stayed over Labor Day weekend with our two teenage sons. The location was great! Not too busy and very peaceful. Very easy to get our kayaks into the water and the depth of the river is great! There are also some awesome, deep swimming/fishing holes not too far up stream. The house is beautiful and well appointed. Lots of room and could easily handle at least 6 people. We will definitely be back!

  My wife and I shared the cabin with our son, our daughter in law and granddaughter. We were surprised at the size space we had. We had more than enough room and the house is decorated over the top. Very well thought out and everyone had plenty of privacy yet enough room for us to gather as a family. Huge deck for morning coffee and watch the kayakers pass by.
  The yard was just as nice as the cabin. Wonderful landscaping and a great spot to enjoy the river. We were able to swim in the crystal clear water all day. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

  We have chosen this beautiful house many times for our main summer vacation. It is wonderful! The views are breathtaking, the location prime--right on the New River......you can kayak from upstream and get out right in "your own" backyard. it is marvelous. The downstairs is a man cave for the boys to go in and out and play their video games, they can play cornhole right outside, catch fireflies at dusk, amazingly quiet and calm. You have no choice but to relax and drink in the peacefulness. Mayberry-like towns have everything from seasonal shops and events to a movie theater with the most welcoming and family atmosphere to restaurants, and the list goes on...AWESOME!

  Our family of 6 stayed here, it was wonderful. It's a beautiful cabin. Wonderfully decorated and had everything you could think of. Comfy beds, space to lounge in when the summer showers popped up. The property was lovely not in the middle of no where but the neighbors were very nice). There is river access but it is not very much due to erosion issues but if it were possible to make some stairs instead of the hill it would only add to the amazingness! Over all it was a great experience and we will stay here again!
