Todd, NC - This cozy log cabin comes quaintly furnished with brand new furniture and is conveniently located just off scenic Hwy 194S on a quiet lane. Close to Boone, West Jefferson, Todd and the Blue Ridge Parkway, you can hike or take a walk with your dog directly from the front door. The cabin is tastefully decorated in warm mountain decor.

The main living area includes a stone gas fireplace for cozying on those cool Carolina Mountain evenings, and a dining/kitchen combo fully equipped with everything you need to prepare that special meal for your significant other. A bedroom with comfy new king sized log bed and a bath are also on this level. Upstairs is another bedroom with king bed and bath along with a loft area that offers a king sleeper sofa for extra sleeping. With central heat and air conditioning there's no need to worry about the weather.

Out back, you're sure to enjoy the screened in porch with hot tub and seating area for reading. This creekfront retreat is like being in your own little state park. If a peaceful, quiet and beautiful setting is what you are looking for, this cabin is your best choice. Allows small pets and provides a wonderful, fenced area for children and pets. Note: Pets allowed with a $75 per stay per pet. Airbnb/VRBO will only automatically charge one pet. The host will add an additional $75 for each pet if you are bringing more than one pet.

The surrounding area offers many attractions and site seeing opportunities. Nearby is Mount Jefferson State Park, Elk Knob State Park, New River State Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock and the quaint towns of Boone, Todd & West Jefferson. Enjoy a day at the Farmers Market or explore the many art galleries and local shops in downtown West Jefferson. Take in the breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the world famous swinging bridge at Grandfather Mountain. Make sure to visit Mystery Hill or Tweetsie Railroad while you're in Blowing Rock. Looking more adventure? Then spend the day canoeing/tubing the New River or hiking at one of our state parks. For some winter fun, head to one of our three most popular ski resorts: Appalachian Ski Mtn, Sugar Mtn, or Beech Mtn.

  Comfortable & ideally located in Todd, NC - close to Boone & West Jefferson. Comfortable beds, lovely fire pit & fireplace. When we arrived the hot tub was a little murky so we called the office & their maintenance man (Kyle) came right away & efficiently fixed the problem with a drain/shock so the water was sparkling & hot tub was a welcome plunge for sore muscles. Highly recommend this little slice of heaven far away from the city bustle but still close to quaint dining and shopping!

  This cabin is a cozy little spot in a cabin community in the woods north of Boone. There was a cool, autumn breeze that would flow down the valley in the evening, and there was a quiet stillness at night. The bedding and appliances are top notch, and the rental company was very responsive and accommodating. It's a 10 minute drive to Jefferson and 25 minutes to Boone. So you have serenity in the woods or pubs in town at your convenience. I would stay here again.

  Cute cabin, 2 king size beds were a plus if you were traveling with 2 couples, reasonably priced. Disappointed with the kitchen pots and pans(many need to be thrown out), silverware drawer feels like it wants to fall out when opened, no closets, hot tub water was cloudy and contained black particles that accumulated on the lower right side, never could figure out the upstairs shower, cabin was very dark inside, walkway to front porch was always muddy.

  The cabin was beautiful. My wife and I brought two of our our dogs. The area was fenced in, so they were able to enjoy the outside. The hot tub was well-maintained and relaxing. We were only about 25 minutes from Boone, so we traveled there and enjoyed the downtown and had a great dinner. I would highly recommend staying here.

  After staying here several times in the past and having an excellent experience- this time was not nearly as good. Overall property was not clean at all and included cobwebs everywhere and unclean toilets. Many of the amenities such as glasses and bowls were either cracked or just not there. Again, had numerous great stays at this property. Unfortunately this was not one of them. Property Management group was exceptional as always.

  It was a very nice long weekend. The cabin was cozy. Only a few recommendations: Need more bowls(4), wine glasses(3), and plates(4). Need a trash can upstairs. Dryer sounds horrible but seemed to work on. Dishwasher only functions on 1-2 settings. Radio would turn itself on mid day(maybe a timer issue but we couldn't figure out how to change it). Customers need to be encouraged to use their own service for music, as no radio stations come in clearly. We visited a month after the hurricane and there was a tree still leaning in the back yard. Would suggest a good leaf blowing prior to renters coming in so pathways are clearer to see, lots of fall risks. Upstairs is very nice. Downstairs is very small and tight but manageable. I would not suggest more than 4 people and that's tight.

  This cabin is charming,was very clean and the upstairs bedroom was as expected from the pictures. Have to say that the pictures of the downstairs were a little misleading and that area is tight. Fine for the 2 of us, but be aware that 4 adults may feel crowded.
  There are also a number of other rental close by. Outdoor fire pit was very nice and location is an easy distance to Boone or West Jefferson

The main level kitchen and living area are open to each other with a king bedroom and bath on this level. Upstairs is a king bedroom with bath and small loft area. We have had 4 people stay in the past with no issues. There is also a screened in back porch and covered front porch. Creekside Serenade is in a log cabin community with a mixture of full-time residents and vacation rentals. We do hope you will stay with us again and if you have more than 2 in your group, ask us about our larger homes.

  If you're looking for the perfect small cabin in the woods, this is it. It's not all the bells and whistles but it was exactly what we were looking for. Set in the woods, quiet, serene, near a creek. Hot tub and tons of wildlife to see and enjoy(a family of 5 deer approached as we were on the porch) Off the beaten path. Well set up, layout was great and bed was comfortable. It was easy to get to as well and we loved how cozy it was. Nice porch to enjoy coffee on and a true "old school" feel. It was perfect for our couples getaway. Customer service and communication were phenomenal!

  We had an amazing time! The cabin is nicely decorated and in a neighborhood but still has that cabin/woods feel, there is only one other cabin close which is across the street, owners are friendly. The roads up to the cabin were not scary curvy like other cabins we have rented (we rented in October so no ice or snow). Walmart is very close so you can stock up on anything you need. Boone is very close about a 15 minute drive. Hot tub was amazing, we used the fire pit out back and saw lots of deer. There is a charming creek out back. Rental staff were helpful and professional. My only suggestion is the cabin decor could use a good dusting (we are allergic to dust). The cabin was very clean otherwise. Would definitely recommend it!

  Had a lovely 3 night stay.... Cabin was perfectly decorated , furniture was comfy , as was the beds. Also had everything there for cooking. Fire pit by the little babbling brook in back was the perfect place to drink coffee in the morning or share a glass of wine with your special someone by fire in the evening. The hot tub was great for the temps in the 40’s the first night we were there. Wooded lot made it private and also gave you a peaceful nature vibe. Property was just minuets from down town West Jefferson , which was very convenient. Would definitely rent this cabin again in the near future.

  This is a great little cabin with a great setting. We really enjoyed our visit there. The cabin is secluded and although there are neighbors , they are not close by. The only issue we had is that the hot tub malfunctioned while we were there. It is really old anyway so I would recommend replacing it with a slightly smaller unit so there would be room for a cover, and add a cover butler. It was really hard to handle and not a good place to store it while using the hot tub. Otherwise a great place to stay and I would recommend. Like some other reviewers mentioned we stayed in the upstairs bedroom because it was bigger, it stayed cool there the whole time, early September and didn't need heat or air one time. Everything except the hot tub was perfect.

  Charming cabin in Todd. Serene setting on the creek with screened back porch—which would be a bit cramped for more than two if folks weren’t in the hot tub. Keep in mind this is a neighborhood— so you get the usual people noises, power washers, lawn mowers etc during the day. The kitchen is well appointed with microwave, toaster etc—and it was clean.

  Nice cabin set on a small, babbling brook. Though set in a neighborhood, it was private enough that we didn't feel like the neighbors were on top of us.

  We loved the location and beauty of the home. It was clean and decorated wonderfully. The process to reserve with the reservation company was a bit challenging (having to fill out and submit a very long lease multiple times).
  The hot tub seemed to be struggling to heat and it would not stop running loudly all night. My children were so excited for the game table but it was missing two pool balls and the turning function was missing one of the fasteners. The water took a very long time to drain so we had to stand in dirty water while we showered.

  This is an amazing cabin nice rustic style very clean and well kept. This place has all the needed items kitchen, living and bedroom areas. The hot tub is nice and being under covered porch is great because you can enjoy in any weather. The stream is so nice going through the property and community.   We loved our weeklong stay with our 2 dogs. The bed was super comfortable and there is plenty of space to work if you are staying for a long period with excellent internet connection. The location is perfect to explore Boone/Blowing Rock (30-45 min) and Todd/West Jefferson and Blue Ridge Parkway (15 minutes). We enjoyed the porches & sitting by the creek. The house has everything you need to stay for a month. The house is located in cute neighborhood of log cabin homes that is perfect for a morning dog walk.

  My husband and I took a long weekend getaway with our two dogs, and had a wonderful stay at this cabin. Two bedrooms, both with King beds. Although the master is upstairs, we elected to stay downstairs, which was a little cramped for space. The unit was very clean, and the kitchen was adequately stocked (could use just a little bit more silverware?). The furniture was comfortable, and we enjoyed sitting on the back porch glider in the mornings and evenings. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. We would likely look for a larger unit, however, if we were going to bring another couple. P. S. LOVED the ease of check in!!

We were disappointed that Shatley Springs Restaurant didn't open until the following weekend but the Hillbilly Grill didn't disappoint for breakfast and Boondocks Brewing Co was a hit for dinner.   This was the most amazing trip. The cabin is fabulous, comfortable, dog friendly, and has a wonderful location. We had all our dinners on the lovely screened in porch while my dog ran around the fenced in yard. Listening to the creek and being surrounded by nature gave us the relaxing weekend we searched for.   Cute cabin that felt like home away from home. Very relaxing and just the right size for our family of 4. Our two young children enjoyed the fooseball/hockey table. Hot tub was wonderful, too. Temps in the teens outside and we were nice & toasty in the hot tub! Such a great experience, highly recommend!

  Great! Love the decor in the cabin. The only thing that was a disapointment was the ice maker in the cabin did not work. We did not know this and turned it on and water started to accumulate in the fridge.

  Our cabin rental was terrific. This was our first time renting a cabin as we usually rent beach homes. The cabin was very clean and comfortably housed our family of 4. It was better stocked than most of the beach houses we rented. It is conveniently located about 15 minutes from West Jefferson which is great for dinner, restocking and cheese making. It is also only about a half hour from Tweetsie Railroad which was the purpose of our trip. The outside hot tub and fire pit were added bonuses and the stream was great. Lastly, the fully enclosed yard with chicken wire was perfect to allow our dogs to enjoy the outdoors. We are picky people, and we had no complaints

  We have stayed at Creedside Serenade twice and we love it. Very homey and comfortable for our family of six. The yard is level and large, and the screened with the hot tub is great. The cabin is located off the beaten path a bit, but not inconvenient to Boone at all. It's about a 25 minute drive to Boone. We will definitely be back.

  We were two individuals spending a week in the mountains. The house was perfectly sized for us, but more than 2 or 3 it could get a little cramped in the evenings if you need to be in the living room area. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The cottage is in a great location very convenient to West Jefferson, which is one of the friendliest towns I've been too in a long time. They are VERY keen to ensure you are enjoying their town! I had my dog with me and he was made very welcome wherever we went in the town. He was even invited in to some of the shops (non food sellers). Most of the restaurants have outdoor seating so he could join us. We were easily able to get to many places in under an hour: Whitetop Mountain and Grayson Highlands SP in VA, Moses Cone and the BRP, Boone, Blowing Rock, and obviously Mt. Jefferson SP. We did not run out of things to do. We spent a lot of time on the front porch and enjoyed all the birds we saw - especially the Junco nesting in a wreath! My only wish for the place was that at least one of the dining tables be normal height. Both are high bar height and it would have been nice to have at least one of them so your feet are on the floor.

  The cabin is very nice size for 4 ,but more might be a bit too cramped. Dinning space marginal, kitchen adequate.bed mattress's need updating.very good WiFi and tv was ok. A bit disappointed in location, too close to neighbors but the stream was nice. Distance to anything required driving,no hiking trails by the area. Overall ok. Good if you want just get away. Maybe a little pricey for the location.

  I was a wonderful cabin well appointed and cozy. The 2 king beds were great. We loved the fire pit right by the creek and the wildflowers in bloom around the property. Everything was in working order. The instructions were clear on use of cabin and check out. The only complain was the hot tub did not have any bromine in the dispenser and we did not feel it was that clean. It was mostly clear water but were not sure it was treated before we arrived.
