For a charming mountain home with modern appeal and plenty of space for the entire family, check out Mountain Time. Located less than 5 minutes from downtown West Jefferson and just 30 minutes to Boone, this lovely three bedroom, two bath home sits amongst the Blue Ridge Mountains.

When you step into the great room of Mountain Time, you’ll love the modern touches mixed with quaint hints of the past. The gas log fireplace is the focal point of this room, but make sure to check out the gorgeous mountain view from the window! For seating you can enjoy two large sofas, a loveseat or even a rocking chair. You can kick back and enjoy a relaxing evening with your favorite TV show or movie on the large flatscreen TV mounted above the fireplace. The end table and coffee table are handcrafted utilizing unique pieces such as a manhole cover for the base of the coffee table and a wood Pepsi crate for the top of the end table.

The warm and inviting kitchen of Mountain Time features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. You’ll find everything you need to prepare a family meal or a quick snack. There’s even a dishwasher for quick cleanup. The dining area offers seating for six and the island offers four barstools.

The cozy interior of Mountain Time extends to the three bedrooms and two baths. The master suite is located on one side of the home for ultimate privacy. Featuring a comfy king bed with flat screen, wall mounted cable TV, and a spacious bath with step-in shower, this master suite is a luxurious getaway. On the other side of the home, you will find two additional bedrooms each with a queen bed, flat screen TV and a shared hall bath with shower/tub combo.

To truly enjoy the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, head out to the backyard where you will find a fire pit perfect for making s’mores and memories, or just relax in the outdoor furniture on the patio while enjoying a morning cup of coffee or glass of wine in the evening. For those who love to grill out, there’s also a charcoal grill.

Other convenient amenities included with this home are high-speed WiFi and a washer/dryer located inside the walk-in closet of the master bedroom. Small pets are welcome with payment of pet fee.

Mountain Time is an easy drive to West Jefferson, Jefferson, Boone & Wilkesboro. Access to a drive or hike on the Blue Ridge Parkway is only a five minute drive. So, pack your bags and head to Mountain Time where time is at a much slower pace!

  Mountain Time was a Wonderful Vacation Rental. It was Clean, Very Comfortable, and Roomy. This property offered a yard and path for us to walk our 2 dogs - Toy Maltese and Shorkipoo. Especially important it was within minutes to West Jefferson & Jefferson, and 25 to 30 minutes to Boone. Lots of Wonderful Restaurants to Eat at and Lot of Shops for Shopping within minutes. Or the Kitchen was well equipped to cook a meal there at the house.
  We have been Renting from Carolina Mountain Properties for quite a while now. Their Rentals are Clean and Everyone at the Office is so Nice, Professional, and more than Happy to assist you when needed.

  We had a very wonderful experience! The house had everything we needed. Large master bedroom and beautiful walk-in shower. Two other very nice bedrooms for each of our sons and it was great for our little Maltese loved the hard wood floors! Great size yard with fire pit and a pool table in the two car garage. It also had a nice 3 car car port. We also enjoyed the fully furnished kitchen and gas fireplace. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend staying here!!

  A beautiful home in a beautiful location. The house was spacious and perfect for traveling with another couple since the master and other bedrooms were separated on each end of the house. Plenty of seating and beautiful views. Only about a mile from the nearest grocery and gas station and just a short drive to downtown West Jefferson. The only downside was no AC, as it was a little warm at nights, however fans were provided in each room. We ventured to Boone daily, which was about a 30 min drive, but all on the highway so not bad at all. There were neighboring houses nearby, but the home still felt very private. The pool table was a nice amenity that my family enjoyed. We would definitely stay here in the future.

  We had a great time at Mountain Time. The house was small but well appointed and newly remodeled and modern. The access was easy through an un-paved but short gravel road. The views were gorgeous! Long range views of the mountains all around provided a very relaxing time and allowed for some spectacular sunset colors. We met some of the neighbors and everyone was very friendly. The location was quiet and private but close to grocery stores and other necessities. The property managers were friendly and useful and readily available. We would love to come back.
