Offerings include a bubbling hot tub, pool table, ping pong table, gas log fireplace, two levels of decking, and long-range mountain views all within a 15-20 minute drive of West Jefferson. What more could you ask for?

As you enter Dream Mountain Lodge, a deer statue greets you before you even step up on the porch. Upon opening the door, a luxury kitchen fit for a professional chef is waiting. Featuring granite countertops, stainless appliances including and island with cooktop and hickory cabinets, this kitchen is sure to please. There’s also barstool seating at the island. A dining table with seating for 8 gives plenty of room for the entire family, is situated between the open kitchen and living area.

The main floor opens from the kitchen to the spacious living area with cathedral windows for taking in those long-range mountain views and wildlife. The vaulted ceiling and exposed beams add to the unique character of this log cabin. Curl up by the stone-to-ceiling stone gas log fireplace on a cool Carolina Mountain evening to enjoy spending time with your loved ones or catch a movie on the flat screen TV.

Spacious deck areas offer comfy wicker furniture for just taking in the long-range mountain views or if you wish, enjoy a meal outside on the large outdoor dining table with seating for 5 at the time.

The “Bear” themed master suite on the main level features a comfy king size bed and access to the back deck for enjoying a cup of coffee and the quietness of nature at its’ finest in the morning.

The opposite side of the main level offers two additional bedrooms with a shared hall bath. The “Deer” themed room features a queen bed and the “Moose” room offers a double bed.

Climb the steps to the upper loft area and you will find another master suite with king bed, flat-screen TV and there’s even a desk with printer for those that need to catch up on emails or work a little while on vacation. Dream Mountain Lodge also offers WIFI throughout.

Head downstairs for the game room for entertainment! The expansive lower level den offers a pool table, ping pong table and flat-screen TV for your enjoyment. The kids are sure to love this area. There’s also another bedroom on this level that offers a full and twin bed in addition to the full futon in the TV area. A full bath is accessible from both the bedroom and game room.

Step outside to the lower level deck and you will find a bubbling 6-person hot tub. Perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking or strolling the downtowns of our local towns.

Dream Mountain Delight is next door and Above It All, is just up the road, offering lodging for family reunions, church gatherings and corporate retreats.

For some winter fun, head to one of our three most popular ski resorts: Appalachian Ski Mtn, Sugar Mtn, or Beech Mtn.

  The was Beautiful and spacious. Very clean with Gorgeous views. All of the beds slept so comfortably! The only drawback was the scary one lane road into the cabin. Other than that, we loved the property.

  The mountain house was very beautiful. Everyone who attended this weekend absolutely loved the place. The hot tub was a big hit for all. The rental property staff was also amazing! The only downfall was all of the stinkbugs and ladybugs throughout the mountain house, but I do however know that is typical. Just a fair warning for some people who might not like bugs that much.

  The house was perfect and just as described. Clean, spacious and well appointed. We had plenty of room for our two families to spread out. Beds were comfortable.   I will definitely come back to this house! Amazing deck, loved the kitchen dinning area. Our group spent so much time on the deck, kitchen and large table. We played games each night, made so many memories! We laughed until it hurt. We had a group of 12 adults, plenty of room. With Covid we knew we wanted to stay at the house and this was the house! We hiked, took walks and enjoyed the company! You know your having a great time when it was time to leave and we were sad! Thank You to the homeowners for putting your place out there during this time of COVID-19. The house was truly clean, safe and beds were so comfortable!!! Great Job 👏��

  Dream Mountain lodge is a wonderful place to stay! The house had enough room to spread out and plenty of things for the family to do. We used the pool table, ping pong table, and hot tub every evening. The kitchen is well equipped and there were plenty of towels. The reservation staff was excellent! They answered all my questions and were very accommodating with check in. Plus the location was close to Boone which is a fun town to visit. We also enjoyed tubing down the river (so much we went twice).

  Our stay was lovely, and this was truly an amazing mountain getaway to stay at. All rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. Temperature control was perfect. We cooked dinner and breakfast without issue in the sizable kitchen. Kids played pool and ping pong more than I would have imagined and also enjoyed the hot tub. Great place!
