Dreaming of the perfect log home for a mountain getaway with the entire family? Dream Mountain Lodge is the one you have been looking for! Offerings include a bubbling hot tub, pool table, ping pong table, gas log fireplace, two levels of decking, and long-range mountain views all within a 15-20 minute drive of West Jefferson. What more could you ask for?

As you enter Dream Mountain Lodge, a deer statue greets you before you even step up on the porch. Upon opening the door, a luxury kitchen fit for a professional chef is waiting. Featuring granite countertops, stainless appliances including and island with cooktop and hickory cabinets, this kitchen is sure to please. There’s also barstool seating at the island. A dining table with seating for 8 gives plenty of room for the entire family, is situated between the open kitchen and living area.

The main floor opens from the kitchen to the spacious living area with cathedral windows for taking in those long-range mountain views and wildlife. The vaulted ceiling and exposed beams add to the unique character of this log cabin. Curl up by the stone-to-ceiling stone gas log fireplace on a cool Carolina Mountain evening to enjoy spending time with your loved ones or catch a movie on the flat screen TV.

Spacious deck areas offer comfy wicker furniture for just taking in the long-range mountain views or if you wish, enjoy a meal outside on the large outdoor dining table with seating for 5 at the time.

The “Bear” themed master suite on the main level features a comfy king size bed and access to the back deck for enjoying a cup of coffee and the quietness of nature at its’ finest in the morning.

The opposite side of the main level offers two additional bedrooms with a shared hall bath. The “Deer” themed room features a queen bed and the “Moose” room offers a double bed.

Climb the steps to the upper loft area and you will find another master suite with king bed, flat-screen TV and there’s even a desk with printer for those that need to catch up on emails or work a little while on vacation. Dream Mountain Lodge also offers WIFI throughout.

Head downstairs for the game room for entertainment! The expansive lower level den offers a pool table, ping pong table and flat-screen TV for your enjoyment. The kids are sure to love this area. There’s also another bedroom on this level that offers a full and twin bed in addition to the full futon in the TV area. A full bath is accessible from both the bedroom and game room.

Step outside to the lower level deck and you will find a bubbling 6-person hot tub. Perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking or strolling the downtowns of our local towns.

Dream Mountain Delight is next door and Above It All, is just up the road, offering lodging for family reunions, church gatherings and corporate retreats.

For some winter fun, head to one of our three most popular ski resorts: Appalachian Ski Mtn, Sugar Mtn, or Beech Mtn.

  The was Beautiful and spacious. Very clean with Gorgeous views. All of the beds slept so comfortably! The only drawback was the scary one lane road into the cabin. Other than that, we loved the property.

  It was good to get together with my two sons and their families and we had a relaxing fun filled few days together. As far as the cabin goes, it was adequate for our needs. The furniture is tired and in need of updating. The main floor master bath tub/shower is really in need of updating and shower pressure very low. The nearest town of Jefferson is quaint and has several nice restaurants. The boys and kids enjoyed fishing and tubing on the New River. The one lane quarter mile gravel road to cabin entrance can get interesting when neighbors are going opposite direction. Overall, I feel that for the total price paid the value just isn't quite there.

  The mountain house was very beautiful. Everyone who attended this weekend absolutely loved the place. The hot tub was a big hit for all. The rental property staff was also amazing! The only downfall was all of the stinkbugs and ladybugs throughout the mountain house, but I do however know that is typical. Just a fair warning for some people who might not like bugs that much.

  The house was perfect and just as described. Clean, spacious and well appointed. We had plenty of room for our two families to spread out. Beds were comfortable. The weather was rainy and foggy so we weren’t able to do ads much outdoors so extra thankful for the nice home to play games and spend time together.

  The house was as described, there was plenty of room for the kids in the basement area, they played until they passed out! it snowed everyday that we were there and they were able to sled on the hill in the back yard. The kitchen was large enough for our group of 13 girls! and there was plenty of cookware and dishes. The beds were comfortable. You do need to bring a Roku or something for movies for up and downstairs if you plan to watch TV, The views from the back deck are amazing. We did see deer! For sure need a 4 wheel drive for the trip into the property in the winter! Walmart and Food lion are close by about 20-25 minutes.

  I will definitely come back to this house! Amazing deck, loved the kitchen dinning area. Our group spent so much time on the deck, kitchen and large table. We played games each night, made so many memories! We laughed until it hurt. We had a group of 12 adults, plenty of room. With Covid we knew we wanted to stay at the house and this was the house! We hiked, took walks and enjoyed the company! You know your having a great time when it was time to leave and we were sad! Thank You to the homeowners for putting your place out there during this time of COVID-19. The house was truly clean, safe and beds were so comfortable!!! Great Job 👏��

  Dream Mountain lodge is a wonderful place to stay! The house had enough room to spread out and plenty of things for the family to do. We used the pool table, ping pong table, and hot tub every evening. The kitchen is well equipped and there were plenty of towels. The reservation staff was excellent! They answered all my questions and were very accommodating with check in. Plus the location was close to Boone which is a fun town to visit. We also enjoyed tubing down the river (so much we went twice).

  We had a great time at Dream Mountain Lodge. It was perfect for 10 adults and a baby. There were a few things that could improve. Two pool sticks need a new tip, need chalk for the sticks, trim on floor needs to be connected, chair near hot tub needs a new bolt, the floors needed to be moped, need to spray for bugs & insects. Must have killed 50 centipeids in basement. Need to fill both gas tanks for grill. Jennifer at Carolina rentals was great!!!

  Our stay was lovely, and this was truly an amazing mountain getaway to stay at. All rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. Temperature control was perfect. We cooked dinner and breakfast without issue in the sizable kitchen. Kids played pool and ping pong more than I would have imagined and also enjoyed the hot tub. Great place! Recommend without reservation.
